When Chauncey booked a cruise with our group we told him and his mom that we would take him under our wing and show him the ropes. We suggested that we might even teach him some of our ship board practical jokes. He was sure that we couldn't get him. For the last 6 months or so before our Explorer of the Seas cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, Chauncey kept challenging us saying that he was, “Gonna get us big time!” It's was then that we started formulating our plan.

A few months before our trip we asked Alana what kind of underwear he wears and put our plan in to action. I bought some “Great Stuff” from the hardware store. (It's that expanding foam in can that you use to fill gaps around doors and windows.) I experimented for a while until I had the perfect turd shape. Then I painted it glossy chocolate brown.

Aboard ship he was like a kid in a candy shop. He was everywhere and having so much fun that I think he forgot about his challenge. Since he was rooming with 3 other guys we would have access to his stateroom. We employed Nick to help us. We went to our room and took out the black BVD's, magic marker and Hershey chocolate bars that we had packed. Next we wrote his initials on the white label. (That's what you have to do when you have a big family) We rubbed the chocolate bar in the bottom of his undies but it just didn't look serious enough. We put the bar on the balcony railing for a while hoping that the sun would soften it. That didn't seem to work too well. Nick suggested that we use a blow dryer. It made the yuckiest mess that you could imagine! Perfect!

Nick let us in to their room and kept guard outside. I spread open the undies on the floor in the bathroom. Next I dripped chocolate on the fake turd then I put melted chocolate on my hand and started touching things. I touched the the underwear and the toilet paper roll and then I put my hand on the wall and slid it down toward the floor. YUCK!

Later in the day Nick alerted us that there was something going on. We grabbed the video camera and ran to their room. When we got there Isaac was hysterical! He was reprimanding Chauncey and telling him that he was, “DISGUSTING!” and that he needed to clean it up immediately. But it didn't end there. Chauncey picked it up, smelled it and then licked it! Isaac almost passed out. We laughed for a long while until we could hear someone starting to open the door . We wiped the looks off our faces and laid back like nothing was happening.

As soon as Daniel came in Chauncey grabbed the underwear and lunged at Daniel and said, “Are these yours?” “No, no no!” Daniel said as he jumped back and hit his head against the wall. We laughed some more while Daniel got his bearings.

Then there was a knock at the door, “Room service” said a female voice behind the door with a strong Jamaican accent. Chauncey quickly put the chonies back on the bathroom floor, opened the front door and said, “Yes, can you clean this mess up?” The room steward said, “Sure” and proceeded to look into the bathroom. All she could say was, “DISGUSTING!” We laughed some more. She went to get her assistant. We could hear them coming back down the hall, “Now, you have to clean this mess up 'cause I ain't gonna do it”. We could barely contain our smirks as he came in and looked in the bathroom. “DISGUSTING”. We all busted out laughing. Some of us fell on the floor. I am smirking as I write this story.
